How OXVA OX Passion Captures the Taste of Disposable Vapes in a Bottle
It recreates the bold, sweet, smooth flavours of disposables through a nic salt in a pod kit, so the taste and feel are familiar, but refillable, legal and far cheaper.
One of OX Passion’s biggest appeals is how closely it recreates the taste of popular disposable vapes, but in a refillable bottle. This guide explains how it does it, alongside our guide on what makes the flavours unique.
In short
OX Passion captures disposable taste by recreating the same bold, sweet, smooth flavour profiles that made disposables popular, then delivering them through a nicotine salt in a pod kit. Disposables used nic salts for a smooth hit and concentrated flavours; OX Passion does the same in a 10ml bottle, so the taste and feel are familiar, but refillable, legal and far cheaper.
Why disposables tasted the way they did
Disposables were popular for a reason: bold, sweet, instantly recognisable flavours, delivered smoothly through a nic salt at a satisfying strength. That combination of concentrated flavour and smooth, higher strength nicotine is what made them so moreish. Recreating that taste means matching both the flavour profile and the smooth nic salt delivery.
Disposable taste, recreated
| Disposable feature | OX Passion match |
|---|---|
| Bold, sweet flavour | Concentrated flavour blends |
| Smooth hit | Nic salt formula |
| Satisfying strength | 10mg and 20mg |
| MTL draw | Made for pod kits |
| Familiar profiles | Disposable inspired range |
The same taste, in a bottle
OX Passion brings all of that into a 10ml bottle. It uses the same kind of nicotine salt that made disposables smooth, recreates the familiar flavour profiles, and is built for the low power MTL pod kits that mimic a disposable’s draw. The result is a vape that feels and tastes close to a disposable, but which you refill rather than throw away, keeping the experience while losing the cost and waste.

More than just flavour
Capturing a disposable is not only about the flavour, it is about the whole experience: the smooth hit, the satisfying strength, the tight mouth to lung draw. OX Passion recreates all of these, the nic salt smoothness, the 10mg or 20mg strength, and the pod kit draw, so the result feels like a disposable, not just tastes like one.
That complete match is why so many ex disposable users settle quickly into OX Passion: it is familiar in every way that mattered, minus the cost and waste.
The whole experience
| Disposable gave | OX Passion gives |
|---|---|
| Bold flavour | Familiar profiles |
| Smooth hit | Nic salt |
| Strong enough | Up to 20mg |
| Tight draw | MTL pod kit |
| Throwaway | Refillable |
A few more questions
Will it taste exactly like my old disposable?
Often very close, as it recreates popular profiles, though taste is personal; try a similar flavour to find your match.
Why switch from disposables to this?
You keep the familiar taste and feel, but gain a refillable, legal and far cheaper vape with less waste.
Do and don’t
Do
- Choose a profile close to your old disposable
- Vape it in an MTL pod kit
- Pick 10mg or 20mg to match your hit
- Enjoy the refillable savings
Try not to
- Use it in a sub ohm kit
- Expect an identical clone of every disposable
- Vape it if you are a non smoker
- Throw away a refillable pod
Why this matters after the ban
With single use disposables banned across the UK, recreating their taste in a refillable form is exactly what many vapers needed. OX Passion lets people keep the flavours and feel they switched to, without breaking the law, spending more or generating waste. It is a bridge from the disposable era to refillable vaping.
For a lot of ex disposable users, that familiarity is what makes the switch to a pod kit painless, the taste is recognisable, so it feels like an upgrade rather than a compromise.
From disposable to bottle
| You keep | You gain |
|---|---|
| Familiar flavour | A refillable bottle |
| Smooth hit | Lower cost |
| Satisfying strength | Less waste |
| MTL draw | A legal option |
| The experience | Long term value |
The bottom line
OXVA OX Passion captures the taste of disposable vapes by recreating the same bold, sweet, smooth flavour profiles that made them popular, then delivering them through a nicotine salt in a pod kit. Disposables relied on nic salts for a smooth hit and on concentrated flavours for instant appeal; OX Passion does the same in a 10ml bottle, in satisfying 10mg and 20mg strengths, built for the MTL pod kits that mimic a disposable’s draw. The result feels like a disposable, not just tastes like one, but it is refillable, legal and far cheaper. For ex disposable users after the UK ban, that familiar experience makes switching to a pod kit easy.
Finding your disposable match
If you have a particular disposable flavour you miss, the best approach is to look for the closest profile in the OX Passion range, a similar fruit, berry, menthol or soda blend. It may not be a note for note clone, since recipes differ between brands, but it will usually be close enough to feel familiar.
Our team can help here: tell us the disposable flavour you enjoyed, and we can point you to the OX Passion blend most likely to match it, which takes the guesswork out of switching.
Matching a disposable
| Old disposable | Look for |
|---|---|
| A berry blend | A berry OX Passion |
| A menthol | A cool or ice flavour |
| A tropical | Mango or pineapple |
| A soda | A fizz or beverage blend |
| Unsure | Ask our team |
A few more questions
Can you match my exact old flavour?
We can suggest the closest profile; it may not be identical, as recipes differ, but it is usually close enough to feel familiar.
Are these as strong as disposables?
At 20mg they match the typical disposable strength, with the same smooth nic salt feel.
A smarter way to keep your flavours
With disposables banned, OX Passion is simply a smarter way to keep the flavours you enjoyed: the same familiar taste, but refillable, legal, lower waste and far cheaper over time. Rather than buying and binning a device every day or two, you refill a 10ml bottle into a reusable pod kit.
For most ex disposable users, that adds up to a better experience all round, the taste they liked, with none of the cost, waste or legal worry of single use devices.
A couple more questions
Is OX Passion legal, unlike disposables?
Yes, it is a TPD compliant 10ml nic salt; unlike single use disposables, it is not banned.

A quick word on safety and the law
Vaping is intended for adult smokers and existing vapers as a less harmful alternative to cigarettes. OXVA OX Passion nic salts contain nicotine, which is addictive, so they are not suitable for non smokers, pregnant women or anyone under 18. By law you must be 18 or over to buy vaping products in the UK, and we age verify every order in line with Challenge 25. If you want to stop using nicotine altogether, your local stop smoking service offers free, tailored support.
UK public health bodies advise that vaping is substantially less harmful than smoking, but it is not risk free, and if you do not smoke the advice is not to start.
